A four-day trip to the nation’s capital for every 8th grader, no matter what their family can afford.

The story
For 15 years, the 8th grade trip to Washington, D.C. has been a Maple Ridge tradition. Students walk the National Mall, visit the Smithsonian museums, and see the Capitol where the laws they study are made.
But the trip costs $780 per student, and last year 23 kids stayed home because their families couldn't pay.
This year, we want every 8th grader on that bus. Your gift covers scholarships for any family that needs one, so cost is never the reason a student misses out.
The trip includes:
You can read about the Constitution, or you can stand in the room where it’s debated. I want every kid to do both.
Who this helps
Every 8th grader, including the roughly 40 students whose families need help with the cost.
