New easels, a pottery kiln and real supplies so our young artists can create without rationing paint.

The story
Our art room serves 640 students a week on a supply budget of $1,800 a year. That's less than $3 per child. Ms. Okafor buys paint out of her own pocket, and students share brushes worn down to the handle.
We want our art studio to feel like a real studio.
Art is where some of our quietest kids find their voice. Help us give them the tools.
Every child is an artist. They just need someone to hand them a real brush.
Who this helps
640 students take art each week. The kiln will let our 4th–8th graders work in ceramics for the first time.

Yes. Maple Ridge Academy PTA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and the receipt we email you works for your tax records.
Every extra dollar goes to our stretch goal: a visiting-artist residency next spring. If there’s anything left after that, it stays with the same program next year.
Absolutely. Drop a check made out to "Maple Ridge PTA" at the front office with "Art Studio" in the memo line, and we’ll add it to the total.
